For the vast majority of newcomers and nearly all our customers, we recommend D Minor (often called Kurd).

  • Unmatched Playability: This scale is systematically recommended to beginners for its technical accessibility and richness of expression. It is so easy to play that it allows you to immediately create beautiful, harmonious melodies, even with no prior musical experience.

  • Deep Character: The minor key is ideal for introspection, meditation, and creating a contemplative, mystical atmosphere that aligns with new players' expectations.

Other Minor Scales

  • Caution: It is not compatible with instruments tuned to 440 Hz (it will sound "out of tune"). Choose it only if your use is strictly solo and meditative.
